After graduating college in 2023 with a Bachelor of Art in Dance, I was working as a freelance performer and looking for jobs that would fit into my schedule. I started working with infants and became a nanny. Through this work I heard  stories from mothers about their birth experiences and felt a deep calling to birth work. I was able to see first hand how much the birth experience effects postpartum and knew I wanted to be a part of the change. 

 

I began my birth doula training with DONA in 2025 and internted as a doula at a local Hospital. Through that internship I have attended more than 14 labors/births. I also deepened my education and connection to birth work when I  traviled to Mexico to attend an advance birth work training where I learned from Partera's  (traditional Mexican midwifes).

 

I am now a DONA certified doula and eager to start working with the seacoast ME, NH community and change the way we look at birth, postpartum, and pregnancy support.
