How did I get here?
From Dancer To Doula
In 2023 I graduated college with a Bachelor of Art in Dance, I was working as a freelance performer and looking for jobs that would fit into my schedule. I started working with infants and became a nanny, through this I heard mothers stories and felt a deep calling to birth work. I was able to see first hand how much the birth experience affects postpartum and knew I wanted to be a part of the change.
I began my birth doula training with DONA in 2025 and Interned as a doula a local Hospital. Through that internship I have attended more than 14 labors/ births. Along with traveling to Mexico to attend and advance birth work training where I learned from Partera's (traditional Mexican midwifes).
I am now a DONA certified doula and eager to start working with the seacoast ME, NH community changing the way we look at birth, postpartum, and pregnancy support.
